我從小不會說話 總會說些不該說的話 也沒辦法
我知道我是傻瓜 我不是說情話的專家 別怪我
I have been awkward at words since I was a child.
I always say something improper to be said, but I can’t help.
I know I am a fool, not an expert of sugar words,
So please don’t blame me that hard, and give me a break.

2009年初，方大同推出新專輯《橙月》，聽過一遍之後，發現每一首歌都很好聽，其中我很喜歡「Sing A Long Song」、「黑白」、「1234567」、「黑洞裡」、「每個人都會」，還有這一首「小小蟲」。
輕鬆寫意的R&B曲風，沒有千迴百繞的轉音，也沒有詰屈聱牙的詞藻。
歌曲的旋律聽一遍就記得，但絕對不芭樂，歌詞的內容呢，則是天南地北什麼東西都能入詞，聽聽這首「小小蟲」，就可知道什麼是所謂的「方式風格」。
真的是很可愛、有趣、好笑的一首歌。
原來男孩與女孩的媒人是一隻小小蟲，對於一個拙於言語的男孩，一隻小蟲的出現，給了當護花使者的機會，懦夫瞬間成英雄，順利獲得女孩芳心。
有時候，我們只是在等待一個機會，一個能為喜歡的人挺身而出的時刻，當當夢想中的英雄，就算只有幾秒鐘也好，那感覺超美妙的吧。
可能是妳喜歡的女孩在雨中傘壞掉，而你剛好開車經過，帥氣地說：「上車吧，讓我送妳一程。」
可能是你暗戀很久的鄰居女孩，她的寶貝狗走失，哭了一天一夜，隔天一早你去按她家門鈴，手裡抱著她的愛狗。
睡眼惺忪、一身骯髒，但還是擠出陽光般笑容說：「找了一整夜，你的狗終於找到了。」
每個人都渴望著，一個當英雄的機會，即便那是多麼不切實際，但這樣超級浪漫的念頭，卻建立在確確實實的一份心意上：
大家都希望能保護喜歡的人，讓她永遠開開心心、快快樂樂的。
所以這小小蟲，如果促成了一樁姻緣，讓男孩變身成英雄，那真的是大恩人阿！
於是右手緊牽著女孩的手，男孩滿足地笑著，然候偏著頭，瞄向肩頭上的小蟲兄，輕聲說道：「恩公大人，請受小弟一拜！」
